HDI-Gerling Life Insurance is operating under this name since October 2006. The company was created by the merger of Gerling-Konzern Lebensversicherungs-AG and HDI-Lebensversicherung AG.

On a multitude of occasions have we proven our competence in the past decades when implementing company pension schemes advising company staff. Our life insurance group has an excellent centre of competence for company pension schemes at hand in the form of the company HDI-Gerling Pensionsmanagement AG.

We were the first provider to realize unit-linked provision with gradable guarantees and attractive performance chances with our “TwoTrust Unterstützungskasse (Relief Fund)” and the “TwoTrust Direktversicherung (Employer-purchased life insurance)”. “TwoTrust” allows the insured to benefit from the dynamism of stock markets until the age of 90 without exposing the employer to any liability risk. Our new product “TwoTrust flex Direktversicherung (Flexible employer-purchased life insurance)” offers a wide variety of options to flexibly design one’s life insurance.

For the growing market of private provision for old age as well we have a perfectly designed range of benefits. The “Riester pension” and basic pension account for a sizeable part of our new business. We also offer innovative products internationally through the foreign network of our sister company ASPECTA Lebensversicherung AG. The focus there is on flexible unit-linked products.

Basic pension and "Riester pension"

At the centre of our activities are unit-linked product variants with guaranteed annuity factor and innovative start management, managed fund concepts, integrated protection for surviving dependents, favourable policy additions and minimal administration costs for the insured. Our new three-pot hybrid product offered as "TwoTrust Riester pension" and "TwoTrust basic pension" stands out by a special concept for guaranteeing values which combines dynamic investment possibilities with high-level guaranteed benefits.

Risk provision

Our disability insurance EGO, which comes in the variants "classic" and "young", has received the top ranking "FFF plus" in an extended disability insurance ranking by Franke & Bornberg. This assures the client of top quality, security and productive efficiency of the coverage for disability.

Unit-linked policies

Our top product in private provision for old age is the variable unit-liked policy which offers a high degree of flexibility by allowing single and special payments, interruption of premium payment, payout of partial benefits or partial pensions. Further features are the lifelong policy period or lifelong pension, a guaranteed annuity factor, innovative start management and managed fund concepts for any type of investor. Endowment and pension variants of our unit-linked policies received the top ranking "FFF" from Franke & Bornberg.

Specialised marketing support

The joint marketing of ASPECTA Life Insurance and HDI-Gerling Life Insurance strives at being the number one as concerns the mediation by free agents. Our current network includes more than 7,000 active free insurance intermediaries. Our products are also marketed via our employed field staff, direct marketing as well as via banks. We attach great importance to the quality of consultancy. That is why we offer our insurance intermediaries the services of our own advanced training and qualification centre "live-acadamy", amongst others.

What is more, Partneroffice, a subsidiary of the HDI-Gerling Life Group provides support to free agents by making numerous service modules available to them.
